Moulding by turning over

ROTAFROM

This moulding system by turning-over is used in two very precise cases :
  • case of small vats : one vat corresponds to one tray of cheeses. The vat has a flat bottom (see coagulation in vat)
  • case of very fragile curd such as « goat’s milk cheese » or Epoisses.

    The full vat and the converter+multimoul+tray stacked up are moved into the moulder with or without divider, depending on the version A or B.

    At the outlet, the vat and the converter (version A) are recycled.

  • a divider is put into the vat before the moulding operation ; its part is to divide up the curd+whey during syneresis
  • the multi-mould, the converter and the tray are put mechanically upside down onto the vat before the inlet of the moulding machine
  • rate : up to 360 vats/hour

  • divider built in the moulder ; the tray and multi-mould are introduced in the upper part of the moulder and the vat in the lower part
  • rate : 250 vats/hour
